Neurodiversity-affirming therapy recognizes and respects that brains and minds work differently—not “better” or “worse,” just different. It supports clients with autism, ADHD, and related experiences by focusing on strengths, acceptance, and creating strategies that fit their unique ways of thinking and feeling.

Absolutely. Neurodiverse couples often face unique challenges in communication and connection. I help both partners understand each other’s perspectives and needs, build emotional safety, and create new ways to relate that honor both brains.

In the first sessions, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding your unique relationship patterns—especially the moments where you feel disconnected or misunderstood. We’ll explore your emotions and attachment styles to identify what’s driving the conflict or distance. The goal is to create a safe space where both of you feel heard and begin to build emotional safety. Over time, you’ll learn new ways to connect, communicate, and rebuild trust, helping you feel closer and more understood.
-
Therapy length varies depending on your goals. Some people find a few sessions helpful for immediate support or skill-building, while others engage in longer-term work to heal deeper wounds and create lasting change. We’ll discuss what feels right for you.
